First Annual Fall Family Fun Run

Let's kick off the Fall season with our family and friends and hit the Fall Family Fun Run. It'll be a morning of exercise, music, costumes, prizes and more.

Mileage: 0.7 mile run/walk (under 12); 1.5 mile run/walk; strollers welcome

Where: The race will start at the lake in Bob Woodruff Park, 2601 San Gabriel Drive, Plano ( map )

When: October 25, 2008 @ 9 am; pre-registration starts at 8:30 am

Costume Contest: The top three Halloween costumes will receive fun prizes!

Cost: Individuals - 2 yrs & under FREE, Kids (under 12) $5, Adults $15, Family - $25

Fun Details:

• T-shirts to the first 200 walkers/runners
• Costume Contest
• Bounce house
• McGruff the Crime Dog
• Plano Fire Department Truck
• Chester Cheetah
• Food & refreshments

Cause: The proceeds from the Fun Run will help to fund the development of a new playground with equipment for special needs children to be constructed in Russell Creek Park.
